Registration category |
After successful registration of the organisation, a designated organisation code will be provided to the organisation contact person. Their employees can then register individually through the event’s official website and key in the organisation code to represent their organisation to strive for the two organisation award categories. (Individuals who have already completed registration can also supplement the organisation code via the Run2gather website or mobile application.) After successful registration of the individual, an unique participant number will be provided to the participant. The participant number would be displayed in the Ranking page and may be used for verification during the collection of rewards. |

Mode of participation | Individuals can opt to join as Challenger (joining the event for free) or as Adventurer (joining the event with HK$ 99 enrolment fee paid to Occupational Safety and Health Council (OSHC)) Upon achieving target step count (an average of 8,000 steps per day throughout the Challenge period):

How to record step counts | After registration, participants are required to use mobile app (Apple Health for iOS and Google Fit for Android) or Garmin devices (linked with Garmin Connect account to record the steps accumulated during the Challenge period and synchronise the step count data with our designated event platform via Run2gather mobile app. How to synchronise step count data |
Organisation awards | There are two organisation award categories. Organisations are required to have at least 5 participating staff in the Challenge in order to strive for the organisation awards. On top of trophies and certificates as recognition, winning organisations would also be given special prizes provided by OSHC. * Award for organisations with highest total step counts ** (Quota: 5)
Award for organisations with highest number of participating staff achieving an average of 8,000 steps per day ** (Quota: 5)
* After the Challenge event, the top 1 organisation with the highest number of participating staff achieving an average of 8,000 steps per day throughout the Challenge period would be awarded with a group cooking class (worth HK$ 20,000) provided by the OSHC. The other winning organisations would be awarded with Group Harmony Pastel Class (worth HK$ 2,000). ** If the total number of step counts OR the number of participating staff achieving an average of 8,000 steps per day of two organisations are the same, the organisation with higher average step per participating staff would win. |
Individual reward | Individual participants achieving an average of 8,000 steps per day throughout the Challenge period will receive exclusive reward for reaching the target. For those individual participants achieving an average of 10,000 steps per day throughout the Challenge period will have chances to receive an additional HK$ 500 electrical appliance shopping coupon provided by OSHC (Quota: 100) |
Collection of rewards by individuals | During enrolment, individual participant will choose a preferred pickup location. After the Challenge, individual participants who are eligible for the rewards will be informed via emails and the rewards will be delivered to the chosen pickup location |
Finale | Finale for the Challenge event will be held after the Challenge. Details will be announced in due course. |
Rewards
Individual participants achieving an average of 8,000 steps per day throughout the Challenge period will receive event exclusive souvenirs.
Upon meeting the target step counts, the rewards received would be different for Challenger and Adventurer
